Abstract

The Nursing Simulation Laboratory (NSL) provides today’s Nursing students with a vastly different experience and meaningful learning; students are no longer passive recipients of instructions, as with any teaching strategy is beneficial to help them to farther enhance affective learning, it can also increase critical thinking and confidence. Students participate in designed learning activities requiring faculty supervised, independent assessment and intervention within the framework of the nursing process. They become autonomous, able to analyze and solve different situations in an appropriate way in benefit of patients and their families.
