Abstract

Sanitary assistance is essential and must be based on scientific methods and practical technologies, placed to reach of all the individuals and families of the community. Primary care forms a part of the national system of health and the social and economic development of the community. It represents the first level of individuals, family and community for getting contact.Health and disease are a part of several natural and social factors in continuous interaction with the use of infrastructure services and equipment, which are responsible for giving the necessary facilities   to satisfy inhabitants, tourists or visitors’ basic needs and improve their quality of life. Among the 17 villages that belong to Pasto city, 4 do not have health centers: Jamondino, Jongovito, Mocondino and San Fernando; consumers who need care, they must go to the nearest health institution according to their housing location.Health services given are of first level directed to poor, vulnerable and displaced population and those ones who are affiliated consumers to the subsidized scheme EPS.Sanitary assistance is essential and must be based on scientific methods and practical technologies, placed to reach of all the individuals and families of the community.
