que están relacionadas directamente con
la experiencia y el conocimiento, así como
con el desarrollo de las habilidades y las
destrezas puestas a favor del aprendizaje
de los estudiantes. Para Villada (2002),
representan la acción docente, al ser capaces
de responder a las exigencias de un sistema
educativo nacional e institucional, generando
la construcción de estrategias, procedimientos,
fundamentos y categorías que permiten realizar
una evaluación con características de calidad
y jar sus puntos de vista para, nalmente,
fortalecer un aprendizaje. Estas prácticas
exigen al profesorado, potenciar su forma de
hacer docencia, logrando otorgar un signicado
a su experiencia para, poder propiciar a los
estudiantes, oportunidades acordes con las
exigencias del entorno, respetando su rol activo
y su diversidad y, además, abriendo espacios
para la exploración de respuestas desde un
intercambio social y de conocimiento.
El MEN (2006) plantea que los docentes, como
profesionales educativos, en el desarrollo de sus
prácticas evaluativas requieren de un repertorio
especíco de métodos, procedimientos,
estructuras cognitivas, validación, aplicación
y construcción de modelos, así como también
componentes generales sobre pedagogía
didáctica, comunicación y tecnología, para
evitar obstáculos en el aprendizaje, y que
posibiliten reforzar sus habilidades y reorganizar
sus esquemas en el proceso de enseñanza,
en caso de ser necesario. Visto desde esta
perspectiva, la evaluación, como parte de la
práctica pedagógica del profesorado, no se
hace exclusiva de los estudiantes, sino que
también incluye a los actores involucrados en
el sistema; esta situación conlleva tener un
panorama claro y de calidad, antes, durante y
después del proceso educativo.
Bajo esta postura, las creencias y conocimientos
que tiene el docente sobre su práctica evaluativa,
otorgan sentido a su desempeño y, asimismo,
a la evaluación que realiza; en este orden, lo
que marca la diferencia de la efectividad en la
gestión pedagógica y las prácticas evaluativas
recae sobre la interpretación que se les
otorga a las situaciones que se presentan en
la cotidianidad. El sentido de la evaluación se
origina a partir de las creencias, el conocimiento
y las experiencias vividas por el docente,
que permiten la elaboración de constructos
mentales e interpretativos, de acuerdo con
las situaciones vividas. Ahora bien, desde una
perspectiva didáctica, se asocia con los juicios
valorativos que emiten los docentes sobre
su trabajo y las acciones que tienen con los
estudiantes (Pimienta, 2008).
De Camilloni et al., (1998) indican que, para
otorgarle sentido a la evaluación, surgen
cuestionamientos como: ¿Para qué se evalúa?,
¿Qué benécos trae para el estudiante evaluar
lo que se evalúa?, ¿Es acaso un juicio honesto
sobre lo que se considera importante? De ahí
que se pueda perder el sentido de la evaluación,
pues el docente, frecuentemente, tiende a
marcar sus indicadores sobre el resultado y
no, sobre el proceso mismo de aprendizaje.
Cabe destacar que, el profesorado de
básica secundaria de la institución Ciro Pupo
Martínez, en sus prácticas evaluativas virtuales
o presenciales, requiere exibilizar sus
actuaciones, soltando la rigidez que enmarca
el contenido intelectual, de modo que pueda
conectar con el sentido evaluativo y brindar
la oportunidad de reconocer la necesidad de
evolucionar al mismo ritmo que el entorno,
donde sus pensamientos puedan ser nutridos
en función de su crecimiento y del mejoramiento
de la calidad educativa.
2. Metodología
Para llevar a buen término el presente estudio,
se hace uso del paradigma cualitativo post-
positivista, como un modelo exible que permite
al docente investigador cuestionar, comprender
y analizar un fenómeno social determinado,
dentro de su entorno original, vericando los
factores implícitos que condicionan la práctica
evaluativa, estableciendo relaciones entre la
teoría estudiada y la realidad social analizada.
En función de lo anterior, esta investigación
se desarrolla bajo el paradigma cualitativo,
puesto que toma como problema central,
las prácticas evaluativas del profesorado,
surgiendo de las experiencias propias del
quehacer educativo, potenciando la posibilidad
de utilizar este enfoque para deconstruir y
construir las categorías y subcategorías que
derivan del objeto de estudio, especialmente
porque están relacionadas directamente con
el desenvolvimiento del ser humano en un
