formativo de la historia en las secuencias
didácticas dirigidas por los maestros en
el aula. En este sentido, Prats, et al.,
(2011) maniestan que “[…] el sentido
de la historia formativa nos remite a una
valoración sobre lo que el conocimiento
histórico ofrece a los alumnos, al poder
analizar las sociedades del pasado y
adquirir elementos para comprender el
presente” (p. 106).
Asimismo, se evidencia que la historia
contenida en los pocos referentes
académicos, únicamente abarca
información sobre la mirada central del
país; es decir, la historia nacional, la cual
“es pensada, investigada y enseñada desde
un lugar que asumió el papel de centro
político, histórico, cultural y académico”
(Erazo, 2010. p. 231). De esta manera,
los maestros entrevistados coincidieron
con la docente E.03 al manifestar que
“prevalece la historia nacional, porque no
hay materiales que hagan referencia a la
regional”, y con la docente E.06, al decir
que “ni siquiera en los Derechos Básicos
de Aprendizaje (DBA) se encuentra un
referente claro que esté sectorizado de
acuerdo con la región donde se ubica
la institución o, al menos, se acerque a
los diferentes contextos”, obteniendo
como consecuencias, limitaciones en la
enseñanza, alejamiento y pérdida de
identidad y sentido de pertenencia y,
la abertura en el campo educativo para
fomentar los procesos de aculturación,
en donde “las regiones se invisibilizan,
se niegan a través de mecanismos como
la enseñanza de la historia o la geografía
ocial central, en cuyo discurso, de
manera marginal, tiene presencia la
región” (Erazo, 2010, p. 233). De esta
manera, los docentes demuestran el
nivel de insatisfacción que tienen frente
a los documentos públicos, cuya función
es la de orientar, brindar criterios claros
y servir como complemento en la
propuesta curricular, pero, sobre todo,
en la labor docente; sin embargo, este
ideal ha sido tergiversado por las políticas
centrales que plantean la construcción
de una nación a partir de los referentes
de la cultura dominante; de ahí la
necesidad de replantear no solamente los
documentos académicos, sino también la
práctica docente, pues es aquí donde la
transformación y emancipación se hace
posible, dado que es el maestro quien
puede:
Anunciar, denunciar, enunciar la
existencia de la región, volviéndola
visible a los ojos de estudiantes,
de la comunidad académica local, y
comunidad cientíca regional, nacional
e internacional; éste es el poder
del docente y en la medida en que
sus investigaciones y publicaciones
se difundan, mayor capital
simbólico acumulan; es decir mayor
representatividad; en consecuencia,
mayor credibilidad [...] por tanto, su
discurso, en el espacio académico,
social y político, cobra tal fuerza que
la región, otrora invisible, se vuelve
visible. (Erazo, 2010, pp. 248-249)
La metodología de la historia en el
aula
Otro aspecto relevante que se obtuvo por
medio de la recolección de información
con los docentes de básica primaria,
fue la inexistencia de una metodología
propia para la enseñanza de la historia,
convirtiéndose en una problemática muy
grande que merece mucha atención, ya
que no atiende las necesidades de los
estudiantes al centrar sus contenidos
y métodos de enseñanza en una
“metodología tradicional magistral”,
concepto manifestado por el docente
E.05, que se visualizó en la observación
realizada. Así pues,
La metodología de la enseñanza debe
encararse como un medio y no como
un n, por lo que el docente debe estar
dispuesto a alterarla, siempre que su
juicio crítico se lo sugiera. No debe,
pues, convertirse en esclavo de ella
como si fuese algo sagrado, denitivo,
inmutable. (Nérici, 1985, p. 50)
Entonces, la metodología de la enseñanza
con relación a la historia es el conjunto de
procedimientos didácticos que tienen por
objeto, llevar a buen término la acción
didáctica; es decir, alcanzar los objetivos
de la enseñanza y, en consecuencia, los
de la educación, valiéndose de estrategias
innovadoras que acerquen a los alumnos
y despierten en ellos el interés por sus
