Abstract

The Labor Reintegration Program is a tool created to develop actions aimed at providing a comprehensive intervention through rehabilitation, including cases of common and special origin, such as labor incidents for workers associated with the Universidad Mariana. The program has been developed taking into account the normative basis of return to work considered in the General System of Work Risks, with the aim of providing a logical sequence that allows workers to return to their work activities, from the identification, analysis, monitoring, and control of health conditions, to interdisciplinary interventions covering the social, physical, and occupational fields, in addition to objectively allowing the recovery of working life, as is the purpose set forth in Resolution 3050 of 2022, which establishes that the right to perform work activities for their full development must be respected, regardless of their state of health. In accordance with current legislation, the program is carried out through comprehensive rehabilitation that includes three fundamental axes: health promotion and prevention of physical and/or mental limitations; development, recovery, and maintenance of function; social and professional integration.
