Visual impairment is a complex issue that generates great social and economic consequences and entails serious psychosocial effects, especially if it occurs in children, affecting their quality of life and that of their families. Blind children have great needs in their daily lives; Failures in education are a direct result of the limited ability to properly appreciate the
environment around them and, as a consequence, they use other senses to explore, obtain information, and learn. In this sense, their education must incorporate specific components and elements that can respond to their specific needs. In this way, the idea of creating a prototype of didactic material that is consistent with these shortcomings was born.
