Theme: Biomedical Sciences

Revista Criterios invites the submission of original research articles in the field of biomedical sciences, from disciplinary or interdisciplinary perspectives, with particular emphasis on dialogue with the social sciences, the humanities, and education. This call for papers is aimed at contributions that analyze the biological foundations of health and disease in relation to social, cultural, ethical, educational, or communicative contexts, as well as studies that reflect on the production, circulation, and social appropriation of biomedical knowledge, within the framework of the knowledge areas defined by the OECD.

The journal welcomes theoretical, methodological, or empirical contributions that foster a critical understanding of contemporary health-related issues, without focusing exclusively on the clinical or experimental validation of biomedical interventions.

This invitation is also extended to studies in basic or applied sciences within the field of biomedicine.
